Experience:3 years of direct client interaction in lighting solution development. Experience performing sales engineering for the commercial lighting industry and/or lighting controls industries.
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, specifically Electrical engineering or Mechanical engineering. Industry experience and credentials will also be considered.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, specifically Electrical engineering or Mechanical engineering. Industry experience and credentials will also be considered.
  • 3 years of direct client interaction in lighting solution development
  • Experience performing sales engineering for the commercial lighting industry and/or lighting controls industries.
  • Experience providing quotes and performing audits.
  • Understanding of project scheduling, task definition and effort estimation.
  • Ability to take project from concept to completion.
  • Strong design evaluation, documentation writing skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Will be expected to go above and beyond assigned tasks to improve the company and increase client satisfaction.
  • Travel will be required for site assessments.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the active opportunities in CRM system
  • Determine customer’s specific technical requirements and product feature needs.
  • Drive additional opportunities by assisting ESCO partners in expanded offerings from C&I
  • Participate in site-surveys, pre-bid and pre-construction meetings, when needed; support installation activities.
  • Assist in defining the end user customer’s project scope and definition of work.
  • Generate submittal packages (product data sheets; bill of materials; standard and customer drawings; layout and connection detail drawings; return on investment analysis; etc.).
  • Create standard drawings for typical product applications.
  • Generate quotes/detailed proposals using proposal software.
  • Maintain all internal documentation and systems related to the audit and proposal process.
  • Conduct or oversee the Measurement and Verification activities to comply with statute or contracted requirements.
