Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage


If you have been paid less than the general prevailing minimum wage rate for the job classification or if your employer is not complying with the act or this title, you may file a protest within 3 months of the date of the occurrence, objecting to the payment from your employer to the extent of the amount due or to become due to them as wages for work performed on the prevailing wage project.

You have a civil right of action for the difference between the wage paid and the wages stipulated in the contract, which right of action shall be exercised within 6 months from the occurrence of the event creating the right.
