SitelogIQ’s successful energy reduction program with Metro Nashville Public Schools and the company’s list of top K-12 facility management trends have been featured in the spring 2020 issue of Energy Services Today magazine.

Metro Nashville Public SchoolsSitelogIQ’ has two articles in the magazine entitled “Top K-12 Facility Management Trends” and “Metro Nashville Public Schools Implements Plan to Reduce Energy & Save Millions”.

In the first article, SitelogIQ identifies trends in school facility management to allow districts to gain a better understanding of Metro Nashville Public Schoolsthe possibilities available to them as they plan for their future needs. SitelogIQ’s suggestions include ways to support the comfort, safety, and efficiency of K-12 schools, in categories such as safety and security, classroom setting, and facility environment and viability.

The second article features an overview of SitelogIQ’s success with Metro Nashville Public Schools in Nashville, Tennessee, one of the largest public school districts in the U.S. and where SitelogIQ is assessing the district’s energy consumption behaviors, identifying opportunities for energy reduction, and implementing conservation measures. Between April and December 2019, the district has seen an energy reduction of over 9.4 million kWh, yielding utility cost savings of $695,095. As SitelogIQ continues to audit the district’s 160+ facilities, tailored energy conservation measures are developed to increase efficiency and reduce energy-related costs.
