Job Summary

Location:California (remote - with up to 50% travel)
Experience:Experience working with energy programs or promoting energy efficiency in a business setting is a plus; Experience working with commercial or education clientele
Education:Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering field or its equivalent in education and experience in the Energy Industry

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering field or its equivalent in education and experience in the Energy Industry
  • Basic understanding/experience with electrical wiring of AC and DC systems
  • Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Technical aptitude and highly detail-oriented
  • Ability to stay organized and on track in a fast-paced environment with changing and/or competing priorities
  • Familiarity with utility, energy efficiency, and/or renewable generation including solar
  • Knowledge of building operations and/or energy-consuming equipment
  • Experience working with commercial or education clientele
  • Experience working with energy programs or promoting energy efficiency in a business setting is a plus
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint programs

Positions Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with clients for solar annual inspections, troubleshooting, and panel cleanings
  • Track performance of SitelogIQ solar fleet including expected, measured, and modeled data sets
  • Troubleshoot solar PV system performance issues efficiently and in a timely manner to maintain customer satisfaction and maximize solar production
  • Analyzing climatic data and operational production and performance data from solar systems
  • Provide remote analysis and troubleshooting of installed and monitored equipment
  • Support energy management team with solar analysis of SitelogIQ and other vendor’s systems
  • Provide project closeout support and review for the transition from projects to service
  • Provide training to customers during project handoff and on-going as necessary.
  • Complete contract setup forms and updates the company system. May be required to coordinate the loading of contracts, contacting clients regarding invoicing, and answering contract-related questions.
  • Complete checklists, documentation, and photography of solar or renewable O&M or tasks via spreadsheet and/or in Work Management System
  • Download, analyze, and process utility data for Energy Use Analysis (EUA)
  • Support sales staff with data, sales material, and case studies
  • Develop process improvements to achieve program objectives in an efficient manner
  • Support the energy management team with customer site visits and reporting as needed
  • Schedule and organize logistics and travel for self and others on team to and from client sites throughout California
  • Coordinate contracts of varying sizes while maintaining customer expectations and deliverables while working effectively and efficiently
  • Coordinate energy activities with government regulatory agencies as needed
