Experience:Prior procurement management experience; construction and/or lighting industry experience preferred
Education:Bachelors Degree in a business related discipline or equivalent experience

Position Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage best practices in support of material procurement accuracy between project management and vendor
  • Place purchase orders with appropriate suppliers based on evaluation of supplier price, quality, availability, and reliability
  • Track all inbound material in support of project managers to meet or exceed scheduled project starts
  • Work with vendors to identify alternative solutions based on availability as needed
  • Keep inventory visibly accurate
  • Support quarterly inventory reviews including vendor returns and donations
  • Assist in the full life cycle of department staff including hiring, training, supervising, evaluating, terminating
  • Vendor management including the overall management of OEM, rep agency and distribution channels
  • Sourcing and vetting new products and relationships that could benefit our customers and business
  • Negotiation of key terms, pricing, payment terms, warranty, returns policy, inventory availability and logistics
  • Support Data Team with regular vendor pricing updates
  • Provide forecasting to supply chain and oversee bulk purchasing opportunities
  • Develop requests for information (RFI/RFP) with potential vendors
