School District of Borough of Morrisville

The School District of Borough of Morrisville serves the Philadelphia suburb of Morrisville in Bucks County. The district serves approximately 7,000 families with three schools: Grandview Elementary, Morrisville Intermediate, and Morrisville Middle/High School. The district recognized the importance of looking to the future and modernizing its aging facilities. The intermediate/middle/high school complex was built in 1958 and the elementary school was built in the 1970s, with only minimal and essential fixes and improvements being made since construction. The district desired to extend cooling to the remainder of the building where cooling did not exist and to provide electrical code repairs that required immediate repair. The District had a fixed budget and wanted to provide any other upgrades with monies left over following the cooling extension and necessary electrical repairs. SitelogIQ designed a solution to extend cooling to the building at a low cost while using existing equipment. A new chiller was purchased through COSTARS as a part of this process. Significant electrical repairs were made to meet code. The project was performed over the summer with no added scopes of work required.
