Project Background
The administrators of Abington School District, located in Montgomery County, PA, faced with an antiquated high school with increasing enrollments, elected to renovate and expand the school. Turning the high school into a 21st century learning environment would help meet the needs of the students, faculty, and staff. SitelogIQ is working toward successful delivery of nearly 500,000 square feet of space. The project includes extensive renovations, particularly to the arrangement of classrooms to help improve the overall circulation of the building. Features include new HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing systems, fire sprinklers and fire alarm systems, accessibility compliance, and finishes, just to name a few. A new two-story classroom addition will allow the move of 9th grade students from the Abington Junior High School to the high school.
